My cricket hero

Thank you for teaching me everything I know about the wonderful game of cricket its morals that apply to life in general. The etiquette you taught me, that I will pass on when I have children of my own. Thank you for always taking an interest in all aspects of my life, work, sports, friends and Natalie. I thoroughly enjoyed stories of you games for Quinton and the knowledge of grounds I would later go on to play on. I was never able to reach your levels but I owe it to all the support you and Ida gave me to keep striving to do so. Thank you for watching me play football in the pouring rain (when you were the only person to have a video camera!), cricket in heat waves and generally always being on hand for advice on any subject. You will both always been in my thoughts and will be forever missed.
